GOS in recent years have embarked on business growth opportunities and entered into a new division of Rail manufacture; the design and manufacture of OTMs.
Working closely with Eurotunnel and various other contractors to support and optimise the availability, performance and reliability of the Channel Tunnel infrastructure by providing bespoke wagon-mounted modules to provide the necessary maintenance operations.
Our design, engineering and assurance teams have been working closely with various Product Approval Bodies to understand the requirements to comply with Rail Industry Standard 1702, British Standards 14033 and various other specific legislation and Eurotunnel specifications.
GOS has confronted the challenge of producing high sophisticated modular equipment in achievable timescales to support Eurotunnel in their quest for the Industry. The first OTMs were delivered into Eurotunnel for 2019 with further development projects in progress and the next machines entering into service from late 2020 through to 2023.
