GOS Tool & Engineering Services Ltd is a family owned and managed business occupying a 3 acre site near the old Iron Works in Blaenavon, the historical home of steel making on the edge of the old South Wales Coalfield.

Our site comprises a manufacturing area of over 38,000 sq. ft. with an additional area of 5,000 sq. ft taken up by offices, stores and amenities.

The majority of our manufacturing area is covered by overhead cranes with an additional area under a canopy to facilitate storage, loading and unloading. The site also offers good access and a large tarmac storage area with additional land for future development.

GOS has grown extensively over the last few years by both organic growth and acquisition and now posses a wide range of capabilities “under one roof.” In addition our continued investment programme has allowed us to provide an increasing range of services to a wide customer base across a number of industrial sectors.

Our traditionally trained workforce produces a wide range of fabricated and machined components including close tolerance tooling, shafts and rolls, gearbox and bearing housing assemblies.

Our Service includes a fully integrated team conversant with all our machine and fabrication shop facilities and able to produce and repair an extensive range of machined fabrications.

GOS also offer a comprehensive site engineering service including the manufacture and erection of steel structures, hoppers and conveyors together with a full on-site welding and fitting service for plant refurbishment and installation.

Our expertise and back up facilities have allowed us to develop the business further and we now provide contract maintenance teams including fitters, electricians, welders, fabricators and machine tool fitters, some on shift systems, in a number of locations.

Using our own teams, supplemented by additional full time factory based operators when required and backed up by our own transport, stores, purchasing and personnel departments, machine and fabrication shops, enables us to provide a very cost effective well managed solution to the maintenance of large complex industrial sites.
